Writing Term 4 Week 8

Hi bloggers Hannah here, today I am going to show you some writing.

WALT: ?????

Today in writing we were looking at persuasive texts, and you would write if you thought we should or shouldn’t have a 3 day weekend. I think that we should have a 3 day weekend. First you would write down why you thought that we should have a 3 day weekend.

Then you would make these into paragraphs. Next you would write the intro and conclusion, you could research facts. Finally you would type this up.

I think that this was a little hard because there was a lot to do.

PBAL Week 8 Term 4

Hello bloggers Hannah here, today I am going to show you some PB4L.

WALT: There is no WALT.

As you may know this week is swimming week, and we had a task board with things to do on it. I am blogging my 2 one. In PB4L you had to watch a video called you, me, and empathy. It was about this girl who showed empathy by helping people up, making them feel better, and more!!

Then you would make a copy of a y chart, and write down what empathy sounds like, looks like, and feels like. Then blog.

I think that this task was easy because there wasn’t a lot to do.

Reading Week 8 Term 4

Hi bloggers, Hannah here. Today I am going to show you some reading.

WALT: There’s no WALT.

This time in reading there were different groups going swimming, and we had a task board with things to do. And you had to finish 3 things and blog them! I have started with reading, in reading you needed to watch a video this was about a kid who wants to design his own school.

Then you had to make a copy of this template. and you would design your own school. There were things like rules, and what furniture, what the school looked like, you could even design your own uniform, but there is more!!!

I think that this was fun because you could design your own school.

Cyber smart T 4 Week 7

Hello Hannah here, today I am going to show you some Cyber smart.

WALT: This is from lots of lessons so there is more than one WALT.

This time in Cyber smart we did lots of these different lessons. For all of them you had to make a copy of this template, you would add 2 questions to it. Then you would make an escape room with the questions in it. There is about 3 lessons or more that I have questions from so it is a little long. I have done a stuck in the box escape room.

On the last lesson on this we add in sound effects, I have tried to add in different ones. I think that this was fun, because escape rooms are fun. I have gotten some feedback and I need to add in some photos.

Reading T 4 Week 7

Hello bloggers Hannah here, today I am going to show you some reading.

WALT:show a developing understanding of ideas across the texts.

This time on Monday I picked a story called look listen swim. It is about a teacher called Papa Asa, and he teaches 3 kids how to swim freestyle. But first they had to do it on the ground, they did not think that this would help them. When they finally got into the water they find that this has helped them a lot.

Create task 1: Using a google doc do a summary of your story.

Create task 2: Make a poster on Canva and record yourself reading your story, make a background for this too. By the way my recording is a little glitch.

Create task 3: Make a Pixton with a person breaking 3 rules, for the beach or a swimming pool.

I think that this task was a little hard, because there was a lot to do.

Maths Week 6 Term 4

Hi bloggers Hannah here, today I am going to show you some maths.

WALT: Look for patterns in similar calculations.

This time in maths we were learning about money. We needed to look at a Joe’s garage link, then you would pick a meal and a side. Next you needed to go on to the interactive whiteboard, and write down what you what, and the price is. After that you need to write the total price with money.

Finally You need to add on a friend and your teachers, add the total of this all with money. And then add this to your student slide show and blog.

I think that this task was easy, because there was not a lot to do.

Reading T 4 Week 6

Hello bloggers Hannah here, today I am going to show you some reading.

WALT: Show a developing understanding of ideas across the text.

On Monday I picked a book called Staying a float. It is about a boy called Kele and his sister called Vika. And they go fishing with their Gran dad. Kele says no to wearing a life jacket. But Gran dad tells him he has to. Then he finds out why he has to wear a life jacket, because it saved his life. That’s why you should always wear a life jacket.

Create task 1: Do a summary of your story, and make sure you have the main points in it.

Create task 2: Make some kind of poster about Beach safety rules, they must be real. It have made everything myself so I hope you think it looks good.

Create task 3: Complete a swimming slide show and add in information.

Year review Week 5 T 4

Hi bloggers Hannah here. Today I am going to show you my year review.

WALT: There is no WALT for this.

On Thursday, Week 5 Term 4 We got to do what you wanted for the last block. But first you had to do this thing called a year review. It had lots of questions, things like what are you proud of, who your friends are, what your favourite food is, and all of that kind of stuff.

I didn’t get up to doing any of the other stuff. But I did do the year review.

I think this task was easy, because I finished it fast.

PB4L Week 5 T 4

Hi bloggers Hannah here, today I am going to show you some PB4L.

WALT: Recognise our own emotions.

This time in PB4L we were learning about what we can and can’t control. First we have to look at a sheet it had two sides and on one side it had what you can control, and what you can’t control. There were lots of ideas, and we talked about them.

Then finely you had to make your own one.  You could do this on Canva or on a google drawing.

I think that this task was easy, because there wasn’t a lot to do.

Reading T 4 Week 5

Hello Bloggers Hannah here.  Today I am going to show you some reading.

WALT: Show a developing understanding of ideas across the texts.

On Monday I picked a story called Nian the new year monster, who came and everyone had to go to the mountains. But then a man came and scared the monster away with red colours, and fireworks.

Create task 1: Make a copy of a slide show, and plan your holiday! It has things like the weather, what you will do, what to pack, and more!

Create task 2: Use Canva to make a poster about your story. You must have: Pictures, what its about, and title.

Create task 3: Using a google drawing make your own celebration. Put in where it is, what you are celebrating, and what food there will be.

PS. I was away on Monday and on Tuesday I had to do a reading test.
